The problems of the tendons at the ankle joint and foot except Achilles tendon are not rare, but usually neglected pathologies, as they are not usually considered in the differential diagnosis. Mainly ruptures, dislocations, tendinitis and tenosynovitis due to overuse are encountered in the clinical practice. In this review, ankle tendon problems were discussed according to their anatomical localization including anteriorly, laterally and posteriorly.
