Although proximal femur fractures are less common in children than in adults, the rate of complications is higher. Due to this fact, it causes greater morbidity. They represent less than 1% of childhood fractures.[1] These fractures usually occur after high-energy trauma, but low-energy trauma related fractures happen with pathological situation. Treatment options in children vary according to age and fracture location. In spite of the fact that all the fractures in childhood are considered to be closer to conservative treatment because of their high repair and shaping ability, the necessity of urgent anatomic reduction in femoral neck fractures, otherwise poor union and nonunion problems, sometimes bring us closer to surgical treatment. Traumatic hip dislocations can be seen isolated but mostly seen with acetabulum or femoral fractures, and these should be treated urgently.
