The contribution to scientific literature from our country is growing progressively every year. Among these contributions, the ones in the field of orthopedics and traumatology are increasing in number and content, and these publications are cited both in SCI (Science Citation Index) and SCI-Expanded. Besides all these developments, the most important obstacle in front of conducting a scientific research in our country is the funding problem for prospective and innovative studies. The aim of this article is to describe the programs of various institutions giving financial support to scientific studies.
