Distal humerus fractures are common childhood injuries, accounting for about 10% of all childhood fractures. There are several types of distal humerus fractures including; supracondylar humeral fractures, lateral condylar humeral fractures, medial condylar humeral fractures, medial epicondylar humeral fractures and distal humerus physeal separation. The most common distal humerus fractures are supracondylar fractures. Supracondylar humerus fractures; It constitutes approximately 55-80% of elbow fractures in the pediatric age group, being more common in men. The second most common fracture around the elbow is lateral condyle fractures. The risk of nonunion, malunion and avascular necrosis in lateral condyle fractures is higher than other elbow fractures. Medial epicondyle and medial condyle fractures are less common. Medial epicondyle fractures are often accompanied by elbow dislocations.
