Diabetic foot infections cause health and economic problems both in our country and worldwide. Diabetic infections are serious infections that require a multidisciplinary approach. It should be remembered that the infected diabetic foot may lead to a problem serious enough to be a threat to both extremities and life. For this reason, all diabetic foot infection should be managed urgently and aggressively with a multidisciplinary approach. Currently, the prevention of these complications is more important than the urgent and effective treatment. For this purpose, the diabetic patients and the health professionals should be trained in the preventive diabetic foot care.
