Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture is a common injury in orthopedic practice. ACL surgery ensures knee function, anteroposterior stability, and rotational stability with high success rates. Patient selection is very important non operative treatment of ACL injury and should be performed with objective criteria. Small percentage of patients may benefit from non operative treatment. In this method physical therapy program including exercises for recovering knee functions, muscle strengthening, balance, proprioception, and core strength is applied. Patient should be evaluated with objective criteria for returning to sports and previous activity level.
