Fractures are common traumatic injuries. Fracture healing depends on a complex biological process, and mechanical factors. For a good healing quality it is necessary to evaluate fracture site and type, preserve bone blood supply and choose treatment methods promoting biological environment, and provide ideal mechanical conditions. There are many treatment methods and physical, biological therapies that are effective on different steps of fracture healing process. The studies must continue to optimize the conditions, develop new treatment methods, and advance our ability for enhancing fracture healing.
