Earthquakes are among the most devastating natural disasters that can cause mass destruction. Crisis management is challenging, however, has vital importance due to the structural destruction that developed during the earthquake and the chaos that followed. Disaster management and management steps include alarm and reaction phase that starts immediately after the earthquake occurs; the operational phase that includes safety, search and rescue, medical interventions, logistics and communication; gathering and evacuation phase after the efforts for rescue and medical interventions are completed; assessment phase that facilitates bringing the teams together and debriefing for the operation; and the training and practice phase that is structured from the assessments and evidence-based recommendations to prepare the teams for future events. In this article, post-earthquake disaster management and management stages are evaluated.
