The mainstay of regenerative treatments is to bring the degenerated tissues back to their previous state, structurally or functionally. Although the frequency of the applications being local and being performed outside the operating room environment gradually increases, it also brings some conflicts in terms of competence and legality. In our article, the place of orthopedic and traumatology specialist in regenerative treatments will be examined from a legal perspective and their medical legal basis and competence will be revealed.
