Artificial intelligence (AI) is a multidisciplinary field that aims to simulate the human-like intelligence capabilities of computer systems. Artificial intelligence is an important area of modern technology and affects many aspects of our lives. Understanding the basic concepts of artificial intelligence and knowing the important algorithms in this field helps us to better understand the potential of artificial intelligence. Therefore, there is great importance to have an optimal level of knowledge about the functioning, principles and concepts of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence algorithms, which can be useful in the medical field by using different approaches in the process of diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, can significantly improve the health system. In this review, we aimed to show the artificial intelligence algorithms that can be used in the field of orthopedics and how these algorithms will provide benefits in the field of orthopedics.
