Biomaterials are natural or synthetic materials that are used to provide or support the functions of living tissues and they continuously or at certain intervals contact body fluids (eg. blood ). These biomaterials are called as implant materials. Studies must be conducted for these implant materials to be more biocompatible with the biological tissues where they are applied and to become more biocompatible by using applicable properties against certain mechanical forces as well as improving their surface characteristics.
