Human hand, as an organ that is in direct contact with outside enviroment, is frequently exposed to traumas and injuries. During this injuries, infectious agents may easly reach into the hand tissue and various forms and types of infections ranging from very simple superficial infections to serious debilating hand infections may develop. The unique anatomy of the hand allows development of special forms of infection. This manuscript will review the hand infection types that are frequently encountered in daily life.
