Solitary plasmocytoma of bone are characterized by a monoclonal neoplastic proliferation of plasma cells with no evidence of myeloma elsewhere. Solitary plasmacytoma of bone is a rare localized lesion that accounts for only 5% of malignant plasma cell tumors. The lesion is most frequently seen in vertebrae especially in thoracal region. We report a case of solitary plasmacytoma of proximal femur origin in a 37-year-old man. The patient applied to our clinic with the primary complaint of pain began one year ago in his right hip. From his medical history, it was learned that he had been applied a needle biopsy which revealed solitary plasmacytoma six months ago. Following to this radiotherapy was applied. Physical examination revealed a pathological fracture on the proksimal right femur due to solitary plasmacytoma. Proximal region of right femur was excised and a cemented total hip replacement was performed.
