Femoral shaft non-union

In femur shaft fractures, very high recovery rates have been achieved after definition of the intramedullary nailing technique and the technique has been accepted as the gold standard treatment. In the cases of which is shown between 0.9–4.1%, it is diagnosed with a clinical and radiological evaluation together without a generally accepted definition There are many types of classification and many predisposing factors that are accused. Failure in the fixation of the femoral shaft fractures is due to biological, mechanical, and technical problems. The surgeon should be aware of the most appropriate strategies and the alternative methods that can cope with possible complications after a careful clinical and radiological evaluation.
