Pediatric elbow fractures are most common seen injuries among 5–9 years old males. Of all pediatric fractures, they occur in 3%. Most of them result from falling over dorsiflexed wrist while the elbow overstretched.
The fractures around the elbow are:
1. Supracondylar humeral fractures.
2. Transphyseal humeral fractures.
3. Lateral condylar humeral fractures.
4. Medial condylar humeral fractures.
5. Medial epicondylar humeral fractures w/o elbow
dislocation.
