This issue of TOTBID Journal is devoted to the management of earthquake injuries. Management of earthquake injuries starts with the delivery of medical services to the earthquake area and requires a serious organizational experience in the field. Requires clear pre-determined rules from distribution of duties and social relations among medical personnel. It is an issue that often goes beyond the standards in medical interventions and naturally affects the right to life and health. Where there is medical practices, there is also law. Contrary to what is known, legal norms are not actually very strict. Every norm has an exception, and the exception often has another exception. Ordinary medical practices can be carried out with basic knowledge of medical law. However, in extraordinary situations, it will undoubtedly be useful to know the provisions that can be considered as exceptions that will enable the physician to work in a more comfortable environment, focus on his work, and soften the standard norms.
