Trigger finger is one of the most common causes of hand pain and difficulty in use. Initially, anti-inflammatory drugs, physical therapies, job modifications and steroid injections are the treatment methods to be applied. Surgical treatment is the definitive treatment for patients in whom these medical applications do not yield results. Open, endoscopic and percutaneous releases are the current treatment methods and their results are quite successful. Although the main pathology in adults is narrowing of the A1 pulley and related tendon sliding troubles, and the main pathology in children is the formation of Notta nodules on the tendon, in both cases it is essential to cut and loosen the A1 pulley. Percutaneous needle loosening is one of the most applied minimal invaziv treatment methods because it is easy to apply, does not require a special and expensive instrument, and is applied a needle hole through skin.
