For management of patients with benign bone tumours, clinical evaluation after the diagnosis of the lesion is usually made by conventional radiography and advanced imaging facilities. After preliminary examination, staging according to the histological type and anatomical locationand then prognostic assessment should be made. In surgical treatment of benign tumors, treatment choices are decided primarily regarding the stage of the tumors. Stage of the tumor, its size, localization, risk of fracture, necessity for reconstruction and the age of the patient determine the treatment modality. Adjuvant therapy and/or criotherapy may be needed according to the general properties of the tumor. Aotogeneous bone grafts, allografts, bone cement or graft substitutes are utilized for reconstruction.
