The inside-out technique has been using since 1980`s as a safe and successful arthroscopic meniscus repair technique. It is feasible especially for the repair of middle 1/3 and posterior horn meniscus tears. Although last generation all-inside meniscus implants provide similar biomechanical and clinical results, inside-out meniscus repair technique is still a commonly preferred meniscus repair method due to lower implant cost, easy applicability, and reliability. In addition to the disadvantages like accessory incision and longer duration of surgery, surgeon should take care of iatrogenic injury of the neurovascular structures.
