Medical records take an important role in patients` benefits but they also bear great importance in terms of physicians, other health professionals, health institutions, forensic medicine, and educational activities. The aim of the management of medical registration process is to check compliance with medically accepted standards, to prevent the occurrence of undesirable conditions in the diagnosis and treatment, and to improve the disruptive aspects of the process. It can be only proved through medical records that the physician performs his profession in accordance with the standards during diagnosis and treatment. From the medical point of view, the `medical records` can be defined as a natural treatment obligation. Therefore, the first aim of record keeping is the treatment, and the second is to ensure the responsibilities of the service providers in the services they provide.
